With profound sadness, we share the unexpected passing of Timothy (Timmy) Joseph Knisley on September 6, 2026. Timmy left us far too soon, leaving behind a large family and many friends who loved him deeply.

Timmy was 41 years old. He is survived by his son, Tim (Little T), his wife Tammy of Bulger, PA, his father Tim Green and stepmother Kathleen (McGinnis) of Atlasburg, PA, siblings Brianna of Clarksburg, WV, Austin of Langeloth PA, and Gabriella of Dayton TX, and his paternal grandmother Mary Ann Green of Burgettstown PA. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Timmy was preceded in death by his mother Tammy (Knisley) Slanger, maternal grandparents John and Mary Knisley, Patti and Larry Herstine, paternal grandfather Robert (Bob) Green, and his infant cousin Emily Green.

Throughout his life, Timmy enjoyed working as a truck driver, a passion reflected in his volunteer work with local Touch-a-Truck events. Above all else, Timmy cherished the time he spent with his son. Weekends with Little T were often filled with fishing, swimming, and the simple joy of being together.

The family asks for sensitivity and compassion during this difficult time. A viewing will be held at Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, 73 Highland Ave, Burgettstown, PA 15021 on Sunday, September 13 from noon until 4:00 p.m.

After the viewing, a gathering will be held at the Knights of Columbus Pavilion.

Timmy's dad and stepmother, Tim and Kathleen Green, are establishing a trust fund for Timmy's son Little T. At this time, donations can be directly given to them.
