Sophie Myers (Rolewicz)

Age 89, of Sharpsburg, died on October 19, 2026 at her home in the presence of her family. Loving wife to Bob (deceased 11/18/2009), and mother of Nancy (Joe Koskey), Bob (Marge), Jeff (Diane), and Tim (Marlene). Baci to Robert, Chuck, Julia, Becky, Stephanie, Parker, Madison, and Sara. Great Baci to 11 great grandchildren. Sister of Ted, Mitzi and Bob (deceased). Beloved friend to Jack Friel and family, as well as, her parish and neighborhood communities. Survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Sophie was active in many organizations and was a volunteer at Aspinwall Meals on Wheels. She was also a member of the Wednesday Morning Ladies Bowling League. A loving homemaker, wife and mother, she was the organist at Saint John Cantius Church of Christ the King Parish for 54 years. Friends will be received Wednesday, October 28 from 10am to 8pm at Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Sharpsburg, 820 Main St. in Sharpsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 29 at Christ The King Parish in Madonna of Jerusalem Church at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Aspinwall Meals on Wheels.
