Rita S. Mitrik

Age 83, of South Park, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert M. Mitrik Sr., loving mother of Robert (Yvonne), Renee (Thomas) Skoff, and Chris (Stacy), grandmother of Robert III (Jessica), John, James, Nathaniel, Julia (Darian), Thomas (Allison), Abigail, Taylor, and Ashleigh; great grandmother of 4; daughter of the late John and Louise (Lendl) Staudenbauer.

Rita was a devout Catholic and taught in various Pittsburgh Diocese schools. She was an avid dog lover.

Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, September 5, 2026, 10 AM, Sts. Simon and Jude Church, St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, 1607 Greentree Rd. Interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be private.
