Obituary

Michael Charles Naccarelli, of Dormont, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026. He was 41.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother, Marianne; and his brothers, Daniel and Brian. Michael is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, and their son, Felix; his father, Louis; his sister-in-law, Cathy; his four nieces; his extended family, including the family he gained through marriage; and countless dear friends.

Michael grew up in Carnegie, where he attended Carlynton High School, serving as class president for several years and becoming a fixture on the theater stage. He graduated from Clarion University with a degree in Communications.

He loved his cats, the family he was born with, and the family he made along the way. Whether he was spinning a vinyl record, heading to a Pirates game, or seeing his favorite band live, Michael found happiness in the moments that brought people together.

He had an easy way of making people feel like they belonged. People were naturally drawn to Michael, and it wasn't long before they were laughing with him. His sense of humor was bizarre, clever, and unmistakably his own. Michael made ordinary moments memorable. Even after nearly two years of living with cancer, his sense of humor never left him. Somehow, that humor stayed with him until the very end.

Family and friends welcome Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 2-4 & 6-8PM. A Celebration of Life Service will take place Wednesday August 12, 2026. 11:30 AM WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220.
