Mark Valerio, 73 of Prosperity, PA, passed away at his home on Aug. 19. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Elsie & David Valerio from Penn Hills. He is survived by his wife, Marianne (Tierney), son Michael (Leslie) and granddaughters, Isabella and Alessia of Ocean City, MD. He is also survived by his siblings, 6 nephews, and 2 nieces. Mark worked all over the world in the field of engineering for the steel mill industry. Mark’s warmth and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew him. Friends and family will be received on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8pm at William Slater II Funeral Service (412) 563-2800, 1650 Greentree Rd. Scott Twp.,15220. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25,2026 10am until the time of services at 12:45pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
