Marjorie Diane (Reyher) Palmer

Age 78, of Mt. Washington, on Monday, August 17, 2026. Mother of Lisa (Mike) Rectenwald and Lani (Chris) Sibbet. Grandmother to Mickey, Stella, Olivia, and Scarlett. Beloved sister of Susan Salla, Vickie Greil, Cindy (Jim) Klein, Kimberly McGowan, Karen (Dave) Herold, William McGowan, and the late Geraldine Luce, Marilyn McDonough, and Ronald Reyher. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Margie was a proud Pittsburgher and Mt. Washington resident. She loved her city, her Steelers, and her Penguins.

She was also a proud veteran, having served in the Women’s Army Corps during the Vietnam War. Her service was an important part of who she was, and she rarely left the house without her Vietnam Veteran jacket.

As a fan of Motown and doo-wop, there was always music on in her house. Margie loved collecting records and spent many happy hours browsing the racks at The Attic in Millvale.

She also had love for animals. There was almost always a beloved pet by her side. We have no doubt that when she crossed over, she was greeted by a whole welcoming committee of four-legged friends.
