Leonard Michael Angelo, 63, of Weirton, WV; formerly of Burgettstown, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, September 21, 2026 with his loving daughter by his side in Trinity West Hospital, Steubenville, OH under the care of Valley Hospice.

He was born on March 17, 1963 in the Canonsburg Hospital a son of the late Leman Leroy and Josephine DiBacco Angelo.

A 1981 graduate of the Burgettstown High School, he also attended Parkway West Carrer Center where he learned masonry. He worked for A&K Railroad in Connecticut and Tomayko Diagnostics. Lenny enjoyed fishing and was always involved with his church, most recently attending the Eldersvlle United Methodist Church.

His beloved wife, Michelle Lee Lagace Angelo whom he married on October 9, 1993 passed away on July 18, 2014.

Lenny is survived by his daughter Samantha Diana Angelo (Jerrad Kidd) of Cadiz, OH; grandson Jayce Kidd; his sister Agnes Grubb (the late Warren) of Burgettstown; a brother, Medie Angelo (the late Marsha) of Carnegie; brother-in-law Edward W. Lagace (Michele) of Wolcott, CT; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his parents and wife are his sisters Cindy Boulanger (Chuck); Josephine Baron (Richard); Anne Orison (Hughie) and a brother, Leman Leroy Angelo, Jr.

Family and friends will be received from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday September 24, 2026 in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021 where services officiated by Pastor Bob Mazeroski will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday September 25, 2026.

He will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Grandview Cemetery, Florence.
