JOHN A. LANE

Age 71, of Collier Twp., sadly passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026. John was the loving husband of Linda (Ganster) Lane and the love of her life for 32 years; brother of Jim Lane (Robin), Jacquelyn Lane (David Joseph), and the late Jered “Bear” Lane; son of the late Vincent and Jane (Wolf) Lane; beloved son-in-law of the late Doris Ganster; brother-in-law of Carole Panucci (Andy) and Debbie Krivanek; uncle of Christopher Panucci (Daniele), Jason Joseph (Natasha), Josh Joseph, Jane Koman (Nick), Jesse Lane, and the late Jenna Krivanek; great uncle of Riley Krivanek, Gianna Panucci, and Jack and James Koman.

John was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing at the family camp. John was a huge Pittsburgh sports and NASCAR fan. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

All are welcome Saturday, October 24, 2026, 12-6 PM, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 412-563-2800, where his memorial service will take place Saturday at 5:30 PM. Interment private.
