James K. Pinkston

It is with profound sadness that James “Kimmy” Pinkston (69) has passed away, on Friday, October 23, 2026. He was surrounded by family and loved ones upon his passing. Son of the late Edith Rose Sams and Charles Douglas Pinkston. Kimmy leaves to mourn his brothers Virgil, Kevin, and Shawn Pinkston as well as his sister Margaret Cabbagestalk (Darnell). Kimmy proceeds with his beloved wife, Martha Jane Gordon, as well as his brothers Ralph, Douglas, David and Gregory also his sister, Karen.

Kimmy was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather. Kimmy leaves his sons James Jr (Tyler and Jalen), Julian (Presley and Penelope) and Jason (Kathryn Nahm, Martha Jane and Joseph) Pinkston. Great Pappy Kimmy leaves Mila and Maya Pinkston.

Friends and family are welcome, 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday, November 1, 2026, at WILLIAM SLATER FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220, (412-563-2800) Blessing Service will be held 11AM, Monday, November 2, 2026, in the funeral home.
