Frederick T. Bertges, born on April 6, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 4, 2026, in Carnegie, Pennsylvania.

Dear son of the late Charles and Pauline Bertges. Husband of 52 years to Sandra Bertges. Beloved father of Jaime (Jason) Fobes and Jessica (Raymond Jr.) Wanek, proud Pap of Matthew Frederick, Joshua Daniel, Tyler Joseph, Ryan William (Brittany), Alexandra Paige (Adam), EmaLeigh Madison (Jake), Brayden Wayne, and Big Pap of Everett Kolano, Ellie Brooks, Suzanna Grace, and Enslee Amelia-Mae. Brother of William (Karen) Bertges, Paul (Vicki) Bertges, Edward (Helen) Bertges, and the late Robert Bertges and Ida (Bob) Moran. Also survived by many nieces and nephews

Frederick found joy in the outdoors, fishing, and spending time gardening. He also spent many hours fixing and painting cars. He shared a special bond with his late puppy, Missy, who was his constant companion and source of unconditional love.

Frederick will be missed dearly by his family and friends and will be loved always.
