David Randy Bailey, age 66, of Mt. Pleasant passed away October 8, 2026 at Forbes Regional Hospital. Born April 25, 1960 in Mt. Pleasant, he was the son of the late Robert G. and Gladys M. (Pfeifer) Bailey.

He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, riding his ATV, having cookouts, caring for his swimming pool, being a handyman, eating food and mostly spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, the former Naomi R. (Povlik) Bailey, Mt. Pleasant, his son David R. Bailey, Jr, grandson David R. Bailey, III; brother to Roberta Hilland (Clint) of Mt. Pleasant, Dianne Smith (Butch), of Arona, PA, Kelly Smith (Glenn) of Mt. Pleasant. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Richard H. Bailey.

Family and friends will be received at the Slater REGA Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant on Sunday, October 18 from 12:00 to 2:00 and 3:00 to 5:00. Private burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
