Carol Leona McVay, age 67, of Pittsburgh, passed away at home on Thursday, October 29, 2026 cared for by her loving daughter, Jennifer.

Born on March 5, 1959 in Pittsburgh, PA to Anna and Martin McVay, Carol was a hard worker and was a bus driver for Chartiers Valley School District. She was known for her infamous Steeler parties and loved going to her daughter’s softball games. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer and Felicia Franklin, her sisters Deborah McVay and Mary Mandarino, and several nieces and nephews.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Anna (Eichler) and Martin McVay, her brothers Thomas Eichler and Richard McVay and her sisters Kathleen DeUsanio and Sandra Conlon.

Family and friends welcome on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 12:00 noon until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 pm at WM. SLATER & SONS INC. (412-381-3345) 301 Virginia Ave., Mt.
