Aloysius C. Schmucker, Jr., 90 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away August 2, 2026 at Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Born December 3, 1935 in Latrobe, son of the late Aloysius C. Sr, and Ruth (Terney).

Aloysius enjoyed fishing, gardening, sitting on his porch and watching the deer on his property and mostly the time he spent with his family and friends. He was retired from Latrobe steel with over 38 years of service. He was an US Army veteran.

He is survived by his two sons, Aloysius C Schmucker, III and wife Sharon, of Derry, Daniel Schmucker of Mt. Pleasant; loving grandfather to Mindy Rodreguez and husband Roy, of Elkhart, IN, Aloysius C. Schmucker, IV and wife Justina, of Three Rivers, MI; great grandfather to Teagen, Armando, Tonio, Avan, Cristonio, Cataleya, Aloysius V, Maddy, Julian, and Camden. Survived by his sister Ruth Walker of Youngstown, PA; Brothers Alfred Schmucker and wife Barb, of Mt Joy and David Schmucker, of Baggaley. and sister-in-law Judy Schmucker, of Latrobe, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia A Schmucker, and brother Arthur Schmucker.

Friends will be received Wednesday from Noon until 1:30pm. Slater-Rega Funeral & cremation Services In, 730 W. Main street Mt Pleasant. Private burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery.
